cntlm

cntlm is an authenticating NTLM proxy, now ported to VMS. The port is based on the unix source code tarball here The sources and documentation can be found here: http://cntlm.sourceforge.net/

VMS Version info

Running or building cntlm on VMS versions older than 8.3 might be challenging, impossible or disappointing for various reasons, I can't test it, you're on your own there.

quick guide and VMS porting notes
Alpha PCSI kit (JB-AXPVMS-CNTLM-V0092-03-1.PCSI)
This kit installs cntlm on an Alpha VMS system version 8.3 or higher. Has been made using PCSI on VMS 8.3, older version of PCSI may (WILL) choke on this.

If you want to see the sources on a VMS system, compile it on Itanium, or improve any code, extract the saveset with the source code like this:
```
$ product extract file cntlm/select=cntlnm-0_92_3.bck/dest=[]
```

Backup saveset including objects: cntlm-0_92_3_src.bck, repair it if necessary by

 $set file cntlm-0_92_3_src.bck/attr=(rfm:fix,mrs=32256,lrl=32256,rat:none)

, unpack it, set default to the [.cntlm-0_92_3.vms] subdirectory and do

$ @makevms ! create executables, objects are there already
$!	   ! on VMS versions older then 8.3, first do @makevms clean 
$ @cntlm_makekit ! create a pcsi kit with your older version of pcsi
